Complex Carbohydrates Defined

listen Complex Carbohydrates Defined

There are certain factors that assist in giving us true health, and none of those factors include the consumption of complex carbohydrates.

Starches contain complex carbohydrates.

  1. Humans need simple carbohydrates, and we convert complex carbohydrates into them if eat them.
  2. Starches have no vitamin C which should be an indicator that it is not designed for human consumption.
  3. Starches get processed and lose their value: rice is bleached in the process.
  4. Starches usually have a lot of chemicals from the production process.
  5. Starches must be cooked in order to be consumed. Have you ever had raw rice, noodles or potato? That is because you are not supposed to. We work so hard to consume these obviously non-human consumable foods: we burn (cook) them and then we add chemicals to them to make that palatable. Why do we try so hard to eat these unpalatable foodstuff? Especially when someone can simply reach up and grab an apple and start munching away in seconds. You will learn below that we do all this because we are addicted.
  6. When they are cooked, they become refined.
  7. Cooking creates anti-nutrients. These anti-nutrients force the body to send out white blood cells to counter them. This happens every time. I wonder why some people have white blood cell related diseases: could it be because they use them every day, all day?
  8. macro- and micro-nutrients are destroyed, damaged, and deranged by cooking.
  9. Dr. Densmore’s book, “How Nature Cures,” explains how humans are frutarians.
  10. Phytic acid (found in grains) binds to calcium and interferes with absorption of calcium. Calcium is taken from teeth and bones to neutralize the phosphorus in grains which is an acidic mineral. This results in bone thinning: osteoporosis.
  11. Fruits and vegetables have 10-100 times more minerals.
  12. The fiber found in grains are course, sharp, and glass-like. Fruits have soluble fiber that is soft and gentle on the digestive system. Insoluble fiber irritates the mucosa in the intestine causing intestinal disease. Insoluble fiber additionally causes the food to move quickly causing low nutrient absorption.
  13. Bran is a byproduct of refined flour which irritates the bowel.
  14. Digesting starches is energy intensive – 36-72 hours to digest. Ever wake up 12 hours later sleepy?
  15. It is a myth that complex carbohydrates gives energy: try running after a meal of rice. Sleep gives energy. What people are talking about is fuel which we get from simple carbohydrates (fruits).
  16. Grains are associated with the following health problems: asthma, allergies, celiac disease, digestive disturbances, mucous and congestive conditions, yeast infections, arthritis, autoimmune disease, and chronic overeating.
  17. Unpalatable starches require flavoring agents: salts, heated fats and oils (rancid poison), refined sugar, artificial sweeteners (aspartame, MSG), and other powerful spices which all destroy human health.
  18. Gluten: grain protein is known for several disorders including psychoses and neurological disorders.
  19. Gluten contains 15 different opioids which are morphine-like molecules. Opioids from outside the body are called exorphins labeled by scientist as addictive and neurotoxic. Exorphins have psychoactive properties. Since the 60s scientists have linked gluten to learning disorders and schizophrenia. Opioids physical effects include: nausea, sedation, truncal rigidity, euphoria, dysphoria, and miosis. Opioids sounds similar to opium for a reason: their molecules are very close. Opioids interfere with neurotransmitter chemistry, and they are associated with: epilepsy, digestive disturbances (constipation), urinary retention, biliary spasm, reduction production of ADH (urine production), slow gastric emptying and slow digestion which is discussed in more detain in the book “Grain Damage” by Dr. Graham.
  20. The minerals in grains are acidic which imbalances the pH and attracts disease to occur. If pH changed two-tenths of a point a person can die.
  21. Sprouts are grains and have the same problems as the grains in which the come from. Sprouts grow mold quickly. Sprouts also lack in vitamin C. Sprouts are predominantly full of acid minerals. Sprouts have low levels of soluble fiber.
  22. Birds eat grains, but they feed their young insects because the lack of nutrients in grains.
  23. All this information has been mainstream knowledge for 40 years according to literature. We just do not look and not one goes out of our way to let us know which might be due to all the businesses it would affect: from hospitals to farms.
